UNAPOLOGETICALLY CANADIAN
The Hudsons Bay Company is a Canadian heritage brand that is losing its relevancy in the minds of young people today and therefore required a rebranding campaign to reestablish itself as a viable retail option.
By showcasing Canada's greatest attributes, canucks from coast to coast develop a greater sense of pride and patriotism. With an unapologetic attitude, Canadians are united by representing the oldest North American brand in a bold new style.
MODERNIZED HERITAGE
The new logo (right) and tagline utilize the same motives as the old logo but in a more abstract way. The new tagline borrows lyrics from the Canadian national anthem.
FROM FAR AND WIDE
The print ads depict some of Canada’s most prideful attributes while being as unapologetic as possible about them. Boasting all we have to be grateful and proud of from coast to coast.
